Michael J. Walsh (B.A., University of Cape Town; M.A.; Ph.D., University of California, Santa Barbara) is Assistant Professor of Religion at Vassar College. He teaches courses on the history of Chinese religions, and method and theory in the study of religion. He is also interested in monastic economics, colonialism and religion, the production of sacred space, and cultural geography. His current book manuscript is entitled Sacred Economies: Buddhist Business and Chinese Religiosity. |
